On Monday February 26th 2015, Pratt Homes held a homeowners dinner for the purchasers of the exciting new Yonge Station development. Held at a local venue, these homeowners gathered to meet their new neighbours, enjoy a delicious dinner and to hear talks from two of the masterminds of the project, Ron Baird and Ian Malcolm.
Baird is the world renowned artist who created the public art installations at Yonge Station and Ian Malcolm is the internationally known Architect responsible for designing the stunning buildings as well as the overall layout of the community.
During his talk Malcom commented on the thoughtful design of Yonge Station, stating, “When a project has an identity it contributes to how the project grows and how the community grows. Yonge Station has that unique identity.”
This enthusiasm was mirrored by the attending homeowners, one of which commented, “Grand Central is a little more than location, it’s everything. It’s the feeling you have when you go there and when you’re driving by … It’s thrilling.” She finished by saying, “I’m excited to move in, I wish it was today.”
Right now, Yonge Station is finishing up selling the final phase of their desirable 72 unit condo building known as the Grand Central. The Grand Central has secure underground parking, oversized balconies, and two elevators as well as has the closest proximity to the GO Station and the community amenities.
If you’re looking for more square footage and a smaller mortgage, there are still a few units available.
