Scarborough Ribfest is Coming! July 31st August 3rd, 2015
The 14th edition of Scarborough Ribfest begins July 31st and runs through August 3rd at Thomson Park, at Brimley and Lawrence in Scarborough.
Featuring 11 Ribbers and their lip-smacking beef and pork ribs, all day free entertainment and free parking, you won’t go hungry at Ribfest. If you don’t like ribs, over 30 other food vendors are there to tempt you with everything from fries and hamburgers, bloomin’ onions, jerk chicken, wraps and lots of ice cream.
A massive midway is there to entertain the kids, along with over 60 other booths offering crafts and lots of other merchandise. A beer garden features the local Scarborough craft brewer, Mill Street, and coolers from Mike’s Hard lemonade.
Entertainment includes a feature act every evening. Friday offers Tom Hayes and the Twisters, Saturday has Green River Revival, Sunday tunes up with Hot Rocks, and Holiday Monday features the Back Track Band.
Scarborough Ribfest is run by the Rotary Club of Scarborough in order to raise money to support projects to help people across Metro, and around the world.
