If you’re a passionate young professional interested in pursuing a career in international business, making a meaningful personal change or just working effectively in culturally diverse environments, the Master of Global Management (MGM) program at Royal Roads University could be for you.
The MGM at Royal Roads isn’t your run-of-the-mill university program. Multicultural, interactive and academically challenging, you will learn in ways you never expected. The MGM program stands apart because it puts emphasis on experiential learning, providing employability skills while creating connections with professionals from around the world. At the end of the program graduates emerge as work-ready leaders possessing the confidence and knowledge they need to manage the complexity of our global work environment.
To apply for the MGM degree all you need is an undergraduate degree in any discipline and at least two years’ work experience. Best of all, the program can be completed full-time on the beautiful Royal Roads campus in Victoria BC or through the university’s blended learning program of online study and in-person residencies. Both delivery models share the same core courses, with the program length being determined by your choice of Capstone project: a Global Management Project or an Internship work-place based Project.
The on-campus track takes between 12 to 18 months, while the blended learning path is completed in 19 months. For those trying to balance a busy work schedule with their studies, the blended learning model is ideal. This option allows you to work online for the majority of the program with the exception of a three-week residency in Victoria at the beginning of your program and an exciting two-week residency on location in Asia later on.
Regardless of what sector, profit or not-for profit, if you’re looking to to advance your career, the MGM can expand your employment horizons.
