Branksome Hall Nurturing Transformational Leaders
When a young woman discovers she can make a difference in the world, she’s able to harness her passions and be remarkable.
Take Grade 12 student, Jana, for example. She didn’t wait for something to happen when she saw a need in the community.
From her volunteer work in Northern Ontario, she learned that many Indigenous youth did not have access to information about post-secondary study. A true transformational leader, Jana persisted for two years to organize a university open house. Here, young students were able to find out about health sciences and opportunities for their academic success.
Jana is just one example. For our students, leadership is more than a title and a new tie. At Branksome Hall, remarkable things happen every day.
We aim to stir a girl’s imagination and develop her critical thinking and inquiry skills. Starting in JK, our expert faculty support each student on her journey of learning and encourage her to cultivate a global perspective.
Our liberal arts education nurtures independent thinkers, strong writers and skilled communicators. Branksome graduates are welcomed at top universities in Canada and internationally, most with scholarships.
Branksome Hall is Toronto’s only all-girls, all-years International Baccalaureate World School. We are located on a 13-acre campus in downtown Toronto. Established in 1903, we offer a warm and welcoming community for day and residence students.
