For 17 years now, giving back has had a special place in the hearts of Pizza Nova franchisees and its customers. Apart from making Ontario’s premium delivery pizza, Pizza Nova is giving everyone another reason to buy a pizza during their annual That’s Amore Pizza for Kids day, taking place on Tuesday May 10th this year.
On this day, from 11am–9pm all participating Pizza Nova locations across Southern Ontario will once again offer their medium pepperoni pizza for only $4.39 (not including tax), with $1 of each
specially priced pizza going to Variety Village, The Children’s Charity. Last year, the 1-day sale raised $94,562. This year, Pizza Nova is hoping to hit the $100,000 mark (meaning they need your help to sell 100,000 pizzas!)
Variety Village is a recreational facility dedicated to providing a range of support and activities to people with disabilities, helping to improve their quality of life. Pizza Nova has always felt strongly about creating equal opportunities for people at all ability levels, making their relationship with Variety Village a natural fit.
With balloons bobbing in the breeze and customers lining up to devour their pizza in support of such a good cause again this year, it’s no wonder that Pizza Nova has raised over $1 million for the charity. That’s a lot of pizza, a lot of pepperoni — and a lot of helping hands for those who need it across Ontario.
In 2015, Pizza Nova raised $94,652 on That’s Amore Pizza For Kids day.
