The home renovation world would be a very different place if it wasn’t for Bryan Baeumler and his partner in crime, Sarah. The Baeumlers are the crux of the home improvement industry and they are moving forward with some new and exciting projects. We met Bryan and Sarah to discuss what they are working on over the next few months.
“This summer has been a whirlwind…”, Sarah begins, “… but September is here and I always see the new school year as a time to refresh and start looking forward.” Bryan and Sarah have four children to entertain and a busy schedule over the summer months, so the fall is often bitter sweet for the Baeumler’s. “We love the freedom and sense of fun that summer offers, the kids get so much from time away from school, but I must admit that there is a sense of relief when September arrives.” Bryan explains. I think there are few other parents out there that would disagree.
Both Bryan and Sarah have been busy filming for the second season of Bryan Inc. which is scheduled to air in early 2018. “It’s great to be back on set and with a new twist to the second season, I am looking forward to seeing how people react to the new series.” Bryan adds.
Alongside filming the new series, Bryan is still building his own company, Baeumler Quality Construction when he’s off set. “With the current housing market as it is, and always changing, we are finding that more and more people are focussing their investments on their current properties.” Bryan explains. “We have had more and more requests for larger additions and several new builds over the past months, so I think people are noticing the trends in the market and staying put. By investing in their current property, our customers are realizing that the market will boom again, as it did in Vancouver, and are investing their money to improve their home.” This shift in the housing market has meant the Baeumler Quality Construction team has been busy, and with the first series of Bryan Inc. showcasing the company’s ability to create beautiful new homes from scratch, Bryan’s construction company is refocusing their time to large additions and new builds.
With this shift, Sarah saw a chance to start a new venture that could offer fans of the couple the perfect answer to their home renovations. Sarah has launched Refined Living, a complete interior design service, that will transform your current home or new build from top to bottom. “The new branch of my brand was a no-brainer!” Sarah explains. “With the success of my blog and subscription box, and the new focus for BQC [Baeumler Quality Construction], starting an interior design service was an obvious transition.” The launch of Refined Living and Sarah’s new website, sarahbaeumler.com, sees Sarah’s side of the Baeumler brand move into a new domain. The interior design service will no doubt be highly sought after by fans of her luxurious and detailed eye for design.

BEAUTIFUL, FUNCTIONAL IMPREZZA AND NIMBLE CABINETRY …as seen on Bryan Inc.
Bryan and Sarah Baeumler constructed a beautiful “green” mansion in Burlington, Ontario, a house that was featured on HGTV’s smash-hit series, Bryan Inc. in January and February 2017.
To match their personal demands for fashion, function and construction, they chose Imprezza™ Cabinetry for the kitchen, walk in closet & mudroom, and Nimble™ Cabinetry for their laundry room and wet bar.
The kitchen featured long, clean lines for a seamless and sophisticated transitional look. Bryan & Sarah incorporated a large island for entertaining that included seating and lots of storage.
Additional storage was maximized with floor-to-ceiling pantries with pullouts, wooden cutlery trays, deep drawers for pots & pans and pullouts for spices and other cooking essentials.
Imprezza cabinetry was also used in the elegant walk-in-closet and mudroom, again maximizing storage space with floor-to-ceiling pantries, bench seating, and lots of pullout shelves throughout. Imprezza cabinetry is a semi-custom line proudly made in Canada, and sold exclusively at Lowe’s.
Clean lines were carried into the laundry room and wet bar, both of which were created using in-stock Nimble Cabinetry.
You can get these looks too—visit your local Lowe’s store and speak with a kitchen design expert who will help you through every step of your project.
