Help A Blind
In a remote village in the Himalayas, a young Nepali mother went blind.
Cataracts clouded her vision so she could no longer see to walk, prepare food or care for her children. When her youngest baby boy was born, she could not see his face.
Then Seva Canada came and restored her sight. She stared at her son in rapture upon seeing him for the first time and said to the Seva doctor “You have given me divine eyes!”
Most of the world’s 39 million blind live in the developing world, and could have their sight restored if care was brought to them. A 15-minute cataract surgery costing just $50 can transform a life forever.
This holiday season help a blind person see.
