Out On The Town With Mike Chalut
Hello Spring! You survived our wild winter and now it’s time to watch our stunning city bloom! The Easter Bunny wiggles early this year so be sure to enjoy as much chocolate as you can and take time to smell the flowers!
We are so lucky to live in a city that never stops and our team at ON the GO takes pride in entertaining you and being your go to guide of all things exciting both in and out of your home. Spring is the celebration of new life and new beginnings! April may bring showers but we all know how much we love those May flowers!
Have fun, get inspired but most importantly start putting those winter clothes away … but let’s be honest … keep that winter coat on standby — we do live in Canada!
Easter in 2015 is Sunday April 5th. Easter is the most important Christian religious holiday and widely regarded as the second most popular holiday in general after Christmas. Did you know that the word “breakfast” originates from “breaking the fast” after a 40 day lent period preceding Easter? That being said, have you made reservations yet with your family and friends for Easter Brunch? The brunch scene has exploded in Toronto. One of my favourite places for brunch in this city, especially for big groups, is The King Edward
Hotel. It is a very delicious and royal experience! Make sure you make your reservation early; you don’t want to miss it! www.omnihotels.com/hotels/toronto- king-edward
TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS VS MONTREAL CANADIANS
Yes … I know … I know. It’s been another bad year for our Leafs. However we are Canada and we are Hockey! This is hockey at its finest and maybe our Montreal Canadians will be the only hope for Canada to win the Stanley Cup this year! Regardless I am still hoping our Leafs win this game at home! This will be a hot ticket, visit www.theaircanadacentre.com for the best seats in the house.
Air Canada Centre — Toronto Raptors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
The Raps are on fire! Head to the ACC and watch them take on Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers! Finally Toronto has a winning sports team, so let’s celebrate by supporting our Raptors, as they inch closer to the playoffs!
TONY BENNETT AT ROY THOMPSON HALL
The Legend! Multi Grammy Award Winner Tony Bennett takes over our city singing his hits and his new tracks off his new album with Lady Gaga. It has happened in the past on this tour that Gaga makes a surprise appearance and we all know that Toronto is one of her favourite cities in the world! I put my money on Gaga joining the one and only, for tickets go to www.roythomson.com
