Six months lees contact has given this wine richness and a lovely mouth-feel. Bright pale straw in colour with a fresh nose of green plum and green bean and a floral top note; medium-bodied, crisply dry, sweetish gooseberry flavour with lemony-lime acidity. Food match: seafood salad; goat’s cheese.

Kosher for Passover. From Galilee this dense purple-ruby wine has a nose of cedar, blackcurrant and vanilla oak. Full-bodied and richly extracted flavours of plum and blackcurrant fill the mouth. Well balanced and firmly structured. Food match: smoked meat; brisket.

A blend of Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, Tinta Roriz. Deep ruby colour with a smoky, earthy, minty nose; dry, medium-bodied, mouth-filling, minty red berry and plum flavours; firmly structured, lively acidity with ripe tannins. Good value. Food match: osso buco; aged cheddar.
