An Ontario graduate certificate — familiarly called a postgrad or graduate certificate — is a great way to enhance the learning you’ve gained through a diploma or degree.
Usually two to three semesters long, a postgrad certificate adds practical, careerfocused learning to the education you already have — making it easier to step into a career once you’ve finished school.
This September, Humber is introducing three new postgrad programs, each carefully tailored to the needs of emerging job markets.
Multi-platform Storytelling for Creative Producers and Screenwriters is a fully online, two-semester program that will cultivate your ability to tell stories using a wide range of traditional and emerging media. You’ll also cultivate valuable industry contacts through a formal mentorship course.
Journalism is designed to meet the needs of the current industry by emphasizing digital journalism, as well as advanced data mining techniques and discipline-specific reporting.
Finally, Business Management — Entrepreneurial Enterprise covers every area of entrepreneurship from developing and refining ideas to launching, growing and managing your enterprise. You’ll have the opportunity to apply for funding, as well as work with Humber’s new Centre for Entrepreneurship.
