Focus On The Future – Humber College
With programs that blend hands-on and theoretical skills with real-world experience, Humber has always had an edge when it comes to preparing students for their careers.
In fact, according to the college’s most recent key performance indicators, more than 80 per cent of Humber grads are employed within six months of graduation.
Now, several new programs starting in September 2015 continue Humber’s focus on the future.
The first, a new four-year bachelor’s degree in Digital Communications, will be offered by the college’s School of Media Studies & Information Technology.
The degree will explore innovative approaches to telling compelling stories using text, video and audio, and will teach students skills that are applicable to many different industries.
Three new graduate certificates, Professional Writing and Communications, Post-Production and Addictions and Mental Health, will allow students who already have undergraduate degrees to build their career through a focus on practical skills.
