2017 Canadian Triathlon Championships
For Canada’s 150th birthday, celebrate by keeping fit, active and having fun in one of The Ottawa International Triathlon’s marquee events. This summer (from June 17th to 18th) countless events will be held along the beautiful waterfront at Dow’s Lake in Ottawa.
The Ottawa International Triathlon is once again hosting the National Championships for Age Groupers and will be a CAMTRI Premium Cup for the Elites, as well as ‘Under 23s’ (U23).
This time however, in a new and exciting two-day-heats and finals format.
Debuting this year are both the National Club Championship and University/College Championship, while The Kids of Steel, Youth and Junior events return for 2017. Rounding out the weekend is Triathlon Ontario’s Cup Series competition.
Don’t forget to say hi to the 2017 Race Director, local legend, Olympian and Pan Am Gold-Medalist Sharon Donnelly!
To find out more about this summer’s events, go to www.OttawaTriathlon.ca; admission is free and the courses are very spectator friendly. See you on the lake!
