Myseum Intersections One Toronto. A Festival Presented By The Myseum Of Toronto
The Myseum of Toronto is an innovative new way to experience our communities. Our cultures. Our urban and natural spaces. Our history. Our future. Our home. Our city is the exhibit, so it’s not one place, it’s every place.
Toronto is a city with continuously evolving experiences, cultures and voices. The Myseum of Toronto was created to celebrate that dynamic diversity. Our festival, Myseum Intersections, will illuminate different aspects of Toronto culture that have fused to create something new and exciting.
The festival’s unique pop-up events and exhibitions launch on March 6th — Toronto’s birthday — and runs through March 31st.
With more than 20 exhibitions and events across the GTA, the Myseum of Toronto invites you to rediscover your city, its history and its future. It focuses on the intersection of multiple perspectives about neighbourhoods, the urban and natural environment, local contemporary arts and the future of our city.
One of the early highlights of the festival celebrates women’s history, Toronto the Just: Stories of Women and the Struggle for Equality, an exhibit created by Women in Toronto Politics and Heritage Toronto.
This moving presentation takes place at four locations around the city and profiles extraordinary women who challenged the status quo and forever changed the social intersections of race, class and gender.
Join us and be inspired by Toronto’s stories across the city!
